Chelsea: I have a problem with the henna curling at the tip of my cone. How can I fix that?
So, if you're having an issue with the henna curling as you're working with your cone, um, that means one of two things: either your paste is too thick or the tip of your cone is too small. So, typically, when you have a paste that's a little bit too thick, or even if there's like- if it's not been well sifted and there's, um, like any type of, uh, debris that's kind of caught in the tip of the cone, that will cause it to curl as you're squeezing the henna paste out of your cone. So, um, the paste may need to be more thin or may need to be better sifted, um, or the tip of your cone might be a little bit too small. So what you can do, obviously at that point if you're working with a client, you can't, like, you know, remix your paste and redo the whole thing. So what you could do instead is just take a small- like a scissor. And just make a really small clip on the tip of your, uh, cone. Don't do too big! Like literally, a tiny, tiny little bit. Just enough that you can barely see what you cut off, right. But just give it a little snip and then, um, try it again and just keep- continue doing that until you see that you're able to get really smooth lines out of your cone without, um, without that curling. Because that curling is definitely one of those two issues.
